Mr. Sherrill Smith Parks, Jr., 74, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Sherrill was born July 21, 1948 in Jackson, TN. He attended Memphis State University and was active in the Memphis music scene for many years. He retired from the USPS in Grenada in 2010.

Sherrill was preceded in death by his parents, Sherrill Smith Parks, Sr. and Helen Moss Parks, as well as a brother Edward Winfield Parks. He is survived by his sister, Jane Parks, of Memphis.

As Sherrill was an avid animal lover, in lieu of flowers, a donation to an animal charity would be appreciated.
