Mr. Robert Steven Davis, Sr., 60, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 26, 1955 in Grenada to Hiram Eddie, Sr. and Edna Mullen Davis. Steve was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a retired farmer and convenience store owner.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday evening at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Penton Davis; one daughter, Deanna Davis Arbuckle of Grenada; one son, Steven Davis of Grenada; four grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Alyssa Davis, Faith Arbuckle and Brysen Arbuckle; one sister, Linda Futch (Ken) of Atlanta; one brother, Jeff Davis of Destin, FL; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Penton of Grenada; life-long friends, Roy Lee Honeycutt and Steve Marshall and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Hiram E. Davis, Jr.
