Mr. Stephen Keith "Steve" McLendon, 52, of Tillatoba, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born September 6, 1965 to Wilmer Norman and Willie Elizabeth Tillman McLendon. He worked as a brazer at Heatcraft in Grenada and was a member of Tillatoba Baptist Church. He was a Past-Master of the Coffeeville Lodge #83, a Knight Templar Mason and a Shriner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2017 at Tillatoba Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Ramage officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery at Tillatoba. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Friday at Tillatoba Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Maci Scott (James) of Starkville; one brother, Kenny McLendon (Beth) of Tillatoba; one grandson, Kyle Scott; two nieces, Lora McLendon and Nikki Newsom and a nephew, Scott McLendon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Don Bowman, Glen Burney, Ron Hames, Rusty Hughes, Eddie Jarrell and David Robinson.
