Mr. William S. "Steve" Sykes, 70, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  He was born February 18, 1955 to William R. "Bobby" Sykes and Claudine Sykes.

A time of remembrance will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Clarice" Weir Sykes; four sons, William "Bill" Sykes(Carmen), Dan Sykes(Melissa), Thomas D. Sykes and Kevin R. Sykes; step-son, Louis D. Correro(Tiffany); step-daughter, Patricia Correro Armstrong(Ricky); grandchildren, Dylan & Ethan Sykes, Legend, Marjorie & Dallas Clark, Chase & Lainey Sykes, Jeffery, Ella and Layla Correro and Dalton Hicks; brother, Ronnie Sykes(Ann) and a sister, Teresa Moore(George).

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Sykes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Any flowers received will be delivered to the Sykes home.
