Mr. Stephen Wayne "Steve" Ward, 50, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  He was born October 10, 1969 in Grenada to James and Nellie Kerr Ward.  Steve had spent most of his working life as a carpenter and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.  He was a devoted Mississippi State Bulldogs Fan.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 20, 2020 at Wayside Cemetery near Scobey with Rev. John Goldwater and Rev. Tim McCaffrey officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Tilghman Ward; two sons, Dustin Ward and Presley Ward, both of Grenada; parents, James and Nellie Ward of Grenada; sister, Becky Hathcock(Stevie) of Winona; adopted brother, Lonnie Liston(Jean) of Martinsburg, WV; brother-in-law, Johnny Tilghman(Patricia); sister-in-law, Teresa Tilghman; two nieces, three nephews and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jim Hathcock, Stanley Hathcock, Paul Jones, Donald Mullen, James Norwood and Johnny Tilghman.
