Rita Suzanne Cannon, 53, of Calhoun City, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City. She was born August 5, 1966 in Grenada to Samuel Caruthers "Dock" and Martha Ann Jackson Herbert. Suzanne worked for many years in the Accounts Payable Department at Heatcraft in Grenada and was a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2020 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Kenneth Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Claire Cannon of Calhoun City; son, Kyle Cannon of Calhoun City; two nephews, Chase Herbert and Cham Herbert and his wife, Lacy; and an aunt, Eunice Marjorie Herbert.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jeffrey Kent Herbert.

Pallbearers will be Brannon Armstrong, Klint Byars, Craigg Cannon, Hunter Harris, Cham Herbert and Chase Herbert.
