Mr. Syble Doyle, 90, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada. He was born June 21, 1926 in Oakdale, LA to Milburn and Estelle Johnson Doyle. He was a retired minister, a World War II Veteran and a member of the Grenada Church of God.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Grenada Church of God with Bro. James McElroy officiating. Interment will follow in the North Shady Grove Cemetery at Cascilla. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday evening and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Tina Allbritton and Carla Riggs, both of Grenada; three sons, David Doyle of Pontotoc, Allen Doyle of Kinder, LA and Ricky Doyle of Shreveport, LA; one brother, Jerome Mergist of Abbeville, LA; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Melba Doyle; two sons, Noel and Tommy Doyle; one sister, Bernice Richard and two brothers, Cecil Doyle and Raymond Warton.
Pallbearers will be Terry Franklin, Cecil Melton, Jeramy Mooney, Don Pyron, Timmy Slaton and Wayne Smith.
