Mrs. Sylvia Womack Parker, 91, of Coffeeville, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. She was born April 23, 1926 in Coffeeville to John Lewis and Carrie Womack. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coffeeville and retired after over 33 years of service with the USDA Agriculture, Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) office in Coffeeville.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, May 22, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Rev. Truman Scarborough and Rev. Craig Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Coffeeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Monday at the church.

Survivors include two sons, Carl Allen Parker (III)(Brenda) of Winnfield, LA and John Womack Parker(Ann) of Grenada; eight grandchildren, Andrea Parker Hataway, Alicia Parker Marionneaux, Kimberly Ann Parker, John Womack Parker, Jr., Carrie Denise Parker, Doug Ward, Dawn Walls and Danielle Ward; fifteen great-grandchildren, Madison Bailea Parker Hataway, Keaton Allen Hataway, John Landon Poisso, Dylan Spencer Marionneaux, Kaylea Elizabeth Marionneaux, Paige Allen Marionneaux, Clayton Walls, Trent Walls, Jake Ward, Jennifer Ward Smith, Jeffrey Nickelson, Mia Dannon Parker, John Womack Parker, III, Kaylee Grace Robinson, Dalton Brown, Triston Jones and Peyton Jones and four great-great, grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Allen Parker, Jr., and a brother, John L. Womack.
