Mr. Terry Floyd Smith, 56, of Cascilla, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his residence.  He was born May 8, 1964 in Charleston to Cecil Floyd and Dorothy Kendall Smith.  Terry had worked for the Tallahatchie County Road Department and was a member of the North Shady Grove Church of God.  An avid outdoorsman, Terry loved to spend his free time hunting and fishing.  He will be remembered as a loving husband and father and was always the life of the party in any crowd he was in.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the New Hope Cemetery in Tallahatchie County with Revs. Jason Smith, Jerry Hill and Bubba Jones officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Belinda Rideout Smith; son, Brandon Terry Smith; mother, Dorothy Kendall Smith all of Cascilla; sister, Angie Powell of Batesville; brother, Jason Smith of Cascilla and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Jordan Powell.

Pallbearers will be Cole Anderson, Spencer Powell, Tanner Powell, Anthony Rideout, Connor Rideout, Jacob Rideout and Dawson Smith.
