IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thelma
Roberts
January 10, 1933 – March 3, 2026
Mrs. Thelma Roberts transitioned to her Heavenly Home on March 3, 2026 at Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston. We can only imagine her joy at seeing her Lord and Savior as she was welcomed home. We know there is a great reunion with our Daddy, Luke Roberts, her son, Kenneth Ray and other family members that have gone on. We know that all her Truth Seekers Sunday School Class members welcomed her home as she was the last of that class to go home. Mother’s favorite verse was Romans 8:18, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Mama was a Proverbs 31 woman, she was the first to rise to get animals fed and breakfast going for Daddy and all 5 of her children. She made sure we were fed and ready to start the day. She loved Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed serving in different areas until she no longer could. We were so blessed to call her Mama and will continue following her example for living till we see her again.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 PM Friday, March 6, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Immediately following visitation, a graveside service will be held in the Coffeeville Cemetery with Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiating.
