Duck Hill

Obituary

Master Ryan Timber Taylor, cherished 6-year-old son of Ryan and Haley Taylor of Duck Hill, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in Attala County.

Born on August 2, 2019, Timber entered this world with a larger-than-life presence that touched everyone he met. A bright and active young boy, he had recently completed the first grade at Winona Christian School and attended Duck Hill Baptist Church.

Timber possessed a true love for the outdoors. Whether he was playing ball with his friends, hunting, or fishing, he was always happiest outdoors. Most of all, he cherished being with his Dad working in the woods. Timber also treasured the time spent with his family, particularly their happy days on the water at Smith Lake.

While his time on this earth was far too short, Timber leaves behind a beautiful and lasting legacy of love that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2026 at First Baptist Church – Winona with Bro. Richard Flautt and Bro. Charlie Parkerson officiating. Louis Ray and Johnny Greene will deliver eulogies. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday evening and one hour prior to the service Saturday all at First Baptist Church – Winona.

In addition to his parents, Timber leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Allye Blayke and Marley Taylor; brothers, Ryals and Steele Taylor; grandparents, Edwin and Tammie Taylor of Duck Hill, Marsha Smith of Scobey and Eugene & Becky Smith of Cascilla; great-grandmother, Betty Taylor; aunts, Amy Rogers(Jeff) and Karley Montgomery(Gage) of Duck Hill; uncle, Brandon Smith of Cascilla and his cousins, Kinsley & Klayston Redmond, Bryleigh, Lawson and Karter Montgomery.
