Thomas Fisher "Tommy" Crawford, 72, of Hernando, MS left for his heavenly home on February 9, 2026, surrounded by his family at Shepherd Hospice.  Tommy was born in Grenada on September 26, 1953. He was the son of Fisher & Dale Crawford. Tommy honorably served in the Mississippi Army National Guard for over 20 years.  Tommy worked many years with his father at Mid-South Produce. He later worked as produce manager at Kroger in Grenada, and later at the Piggly Wiggly in Coffeeville. It was there that he ran into the love of his life Betty, whom he married on November 18, 1999. They later joined forces and worked together as casino dealers at Fitzgerald's Casino in Tunica for over 17 years. Tommy was loved and appreciated for his hard work ethic and corny jokes by leaders and customers alike.

Memorial service plans are private.

Tommy leaves behind his wife, Betty Murphree Crawford of Hernando; son, Cory Crawford of Fulton; daughter, Stephanie Edmondson of Nashville, TN; step-daughter, Tracey Liles (Ben) of Grenada; step-son, Jason Cain(Jennifer) of Bruce; sisters, Lisa Alford(Phillip) and Karol Crawford; 11 Grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 due in July.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fisher and Dale Crawford of Grenada.
