Mr. James Anthony "Tony" Arnold, 77, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2020 at Grenada Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  He was born June 8, 1942 in Calhoun County to James Everett and Virginia Ruth Brown Arnold.  Tony retired as a Foreman after 44 years of service at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada.  He also honorably served our country retiring as a Command Sergeant Major with the Mississippi Army National Guard.  Following his retirement, he worked for a number of years at Lakeway Sporting Goods in Grenada.  Tony was an avid outdoorsman always enjoying hunting and fishing.  He also ran in 21 marathons through the years.  Tony was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Calhoun County.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery at Big Creek.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Coker Arnold; one daughter, Donna Arnold Mills(Donnie) of Grenada; one son, Jamie Arnold of Gore Springs; one brother, Bill Arnold(Kathy) of Germantown, TN; six grandchildren, Tabitha Nail(Bryan), Courtney Marter, Meagan Kemp, Brittany Haddon, Austin Arnold and James Michael Arnold; and three great-grandchildren, Bailee Nail, Noah Marter, Millsie Marter and Harlan Kemp.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patsy Dyess.

Pallbearers will be Jason Golding, Al Hankins, Dusty Rainey and Mike Staten.
