Mr. Toyce "Taters" Spencer, 71, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born January 23, 1947 in Tate County to Ed Earl and Mae Beatrice O'Conner Spencer. Toyce had worked most of his life as a farmer and heavy equipment operator.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 23, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Grenada Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday evening and one hour prior to the service Saturday all at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Vance (Lee) of Grenada; son, Jerry Dale Hendricks (Wendy) of Forest; three sisters, Marlana Ray and Carolyn Bingham of Alabama and Jenny Moore of Gore Springs; three brothers, Lonnie Spencer of Grenada, Michael Spencer of Calhoun City and James Spencer of Texas; five grandchildren, Kaitlin Raymond, Madison Hendricks, Molly Hendricks, Will Gant and Jerry "J.J." Hendricks and one great-grandchild, Bella Hendricks.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Stella Mann, Ann Sultan, Edna Spencer and Louise Green.
