James Montgomery Power, III, lovingly known as Tracey, passed away on January 16, 2025 in Destin, FL.  Although a long time resident of Destin, Tracey grew up in Tunica, MS with a love for hunting, fishing and especially boating.  He was a graduate of Tunica Institute of Learning, a veteran of the Marines, a boat captain and a lifetime member of the AmVets chapter in Destin.  His love for Scuba diving, motorcycles and boating are evident in the pictures he often shared on social media.  Tracey had a big heart, a kind soul and was loved by all who knew him.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Tracey is preceded in death by his father, James M.(Teddy) Power, Jr and his mother Rose V. Power.  He is survived by his sisters, Charlotte Power Williams (Jack) of Duck Hill, Ms and Shelley Power Williams of Gulfport, Ms.  He is also survived by 4 nephews, 2 nieces, 2 great nephews and 6 great nieces.

Services will be held Friday January 31, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Tunica, Ms at 1pm.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm.

Pallbearers are Garrett Williams, Micheal Brock, Bradley Vanlandingham, Keith Williams, Jr, Kyle Williams and Andy Hamrick.  Honorary Pallbearers are Chuck VanMiddlesworth, Bill Callis, Peter Thomas and Bill Griggs.
