Mrs. Tressie Christine Collins Waldo, 97, of Coffeeville, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Grenada Living Center. She was born April 18, 1919 in Bessemer, AL to Albert and Ethel Wright Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Clarence Cooper and Rev. Craig Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Coffeeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Byford and her husband, James of Coffeeville and Darlene Cooper and her husband, Clarence of Brandon; two sons, Jim Waldo and Chappell Waldo and his wife, Cathy all of Coffeeville; one sister, Erlene White of Richmond, VA; 16 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, T.J. Waldo; three sisters and eight brothers.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Byford, Jimmy Byford, Gary Byford, Troy Waldo, Clarence Cooper, III, Scotty Waldo and Rob Waldo.
