IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Trey
Kerr
October 25, 1976 – March 27, 2025
Mr. Andrew Graham "Trey" Kerr, III, age 48, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Southwest Mississippi Medical Center in McComb. Trey was born on October 25, 1976 in Oxford. Trey grew up with a dream of becoming a cowboy. God gave him the opportunity to live out his dream. He wanted to be a cowboy from the time he could walk and talk. He was a Master Welder as well. He rode rodeo in high school and college, after which he rode professional rodeo across the West and Midwest. He rode as a body double for Liam Helmsworth in the movie "The Duel" and went to Hollywood with the horse handlers and had a very brief career there in an episode of "CSI". He decided California was not the place he wanted to be when walking down the streets of Los Angeles as a tourist and people wanted to know where he got his costume. He went on to work on a cattle ranch in North Dakota and welded in the pipeline in North Dakota before deciding he didn't want to spend another winter with his mustache frozen over. He came back home to Mississippi.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at First Methodist Church in Grenada. Friends and family will gather one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
