IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Troy
Winters
October 28, 1975 – January 27, 2023
Mr. Troy Harris Winters, 47, of Big Creek, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born October 28, 1975 in Greenwood to George Harris Winters and Minnie Belle Poynor Winters. Troy lived his life in the fast lane and had a heart of gold. He loved his family with every bit of his being. It was always him and his dad against the world, His mama was his rock, his sister was his go to friend, and his girls and grandsons were his life. Nothing brought a smile on his face quite like his family did. As a mechanic and body man, he could fix or repair pretty much anything. Or least he would tell you so anyways! Known for wearing old blue jeans and a white t-shirt, Troy had a way with words, was never judgmental, had a love for music, cars, and ice cream, and had a way of always seeing the best in people. He loved hard, he loved his family, and he will truly forever be missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
