Mrs. Verilyn S. Willis, 66, of Oakland, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born January 6, 1950 in Muleshoe, TX to Vernon Edgar and Frances Neoma Swanner McGinn. She was the former owner of Movie Madness in Grenada.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Willis; one daughter, Krystal Greer and her husband, Timmy of Grenada; one son, Michael D. Fraley and his wife, Sharon of Rising Star, TX; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Greer, Shelby Greer, Gabrial Greer, Lyanesse Brubaker and Reagyn Fraley; five brothers, Ronny, Sonny, Randy, Mike and Gary McGinn all of Texas; and one sister, Lisa McGinn of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Darlene Hampton and a brother, Ricky McGinn.
Pallbearers will be Randy McGinn, Sr., Randy McGinn, Jr., Mike McGinn, Brandon Champion, Jason Whitsell and Charlie Greer.
