Vicky will be remembered for her unwavering generosity and her deep love for her family. She never missed an opportunity to attend a ballgame or school event or to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed lunch dates, bunco, and mahjong with friends. Her family will always cherish how special she made them feel, especially through the extra love and attention she gave to birthdays and holidays.

Vicky’s faith was active and lifelong. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Grenada, where she faithfully served in many roles, including Sunday school teacher, youth group volunteer, and circle member, among others. She was also a life member of the Junior Auxiliary of Grenada. After graduating from Delta State University, Vicky began her career at Grenada Bank and later worked in accounting at Kirk Auto Group, where she cherished the many friendships she formed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, William (Bill) Bryant McRee Jr.; her daughters, Elizabeth Barlow (Hunter) of Madison and Emily Webb (Daniel) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Dorothy Kate Barlow, Ellis Barlow, and Joe Barlow of Madison, and William Webb and Henry Webb of Jackson; her sister, Deffery Stoker (Craig) of Dexter, Missouri; her nephew, Brandon Stoker (Lindsey) of Martin, Tennessee; her niece, Brooke O’Neill (Michael) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; her great-niece, Emory O’Neill of Jonesboro, Arkansas; her aunts, Ann Kirk and Betty Neal (Buddy) of Grenada; her uncle, Charles Fly (Pam) of Ridgeland; and a host of cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Baptist Hospital, as well as the many friends and family members who brought comfort and joy during Vicky’s final days. In keeping with Vicky’s wishes, friends and family attending her service are encouraged to wear bright colors in celebration of her life.
