Mrs. Wanda Joyce Carlisle Singley McCarter, 46, of Vaiden, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022.  She was born November 16, 1975 in Greenwood to Gerald and Martha "Patsy" Tharp Carlisle.  Wanda had worked as a clerk in area convenience stores throughout her working life.

Memorial service plans are pending and will be announced at a later date.

Survivors include her niece, Robin Holly; nephew, Chris Holly and his wife, Jesse; sister, Stefanie Holly and her husband, Lee; her husband, Jared McCarter as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Ann Carlisle.
