Mr. Wayne Hodo, 53, of Coffeeville, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.  He was born November 8, 1968 in Greenville to Thomas Clyde and Sybil Louise Pierce Hodo.  A skilled welder, Wayne spent most of his 38-year welding career working at Harrell's Metal Works in Grenada.  When Wayne wasn't working, he took advantage of being outdoors to enjoy hunting, fishing and camping.  His loving and kind presence will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Hodo; mother, Sybil Louise Hodo of Coffeeville; one daughter, Mercedes Crocker of Gore Springs; two sons, Kyle Smith(Johnna) of Hendersonville, TN and Jason Trammell, Jr. of Coffeeville; one sister, Rose Marie Miramontes(Sam) of Sacramento, CA; two brothers, John Hodo(Becky) and Randy Hodo(Christina), all of Coffeeville; and six grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon, Jonas, River, Jersey and Waylon.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Billy Hodo.
