Mr. William Clifford "W.C." Taylor, Jr., 74, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in Grenada.  He was born November 10, 1945 in Grenada to William Clifford, Sr. and Mary Adeline Tilghman Taylor.  W.C. retired as a Technician with BellSouth where he worked for over 32 years.  An accomplished musician, W.C. had performed all across North America from Prince Edward, Canada to Mexico.  He was inducted in the North America Country Music Association's Hall of Fame and was honored to have played at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.  In addition to performing, he enjoyed writing and producing music in his studio, Circuit Rider Records. He also enjoyed performing on his weekly TV show, "The Circuit Rider" which aired several years ago. W.C. was a devoted Christian and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 3, 2020 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Tim McCaffrey and Dr. John Boler officiating. Interment will follow in the Grenada Memorial Garden. Family and friends will gather from 1:30 PM until service time Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Annelle Caldwell Taylor; one son, Patrick Taylor and his wife, Amy of Grenada; one granddaughter, Riley Grace Taylor of Grenada; one sister, Sandra Thrift(Bruce) of Grenada; one brother, Dan Taylor(Suzie) of Birmingham, AL; one sister-in-law, Patti Taylor of Senatobia; and two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Caldwell of Grenada and John Caldwell(Gina) of Spokane, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Thomas Taylor and a brother, James Rodney Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Clovis Caldwell, Levi Caldwell, Nathan Caldwell, David Kyle, Mark Tilghman and Tony Tilghman.

Memorials may be directed to the 2020 Campaign to Re-Elect Donald Trump as President of The United States.
