Mrs. Willene A. Bray, 71, of Grenada, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 at Providence Assisted Living.  She was born December 17, 1953 in Pine Bluff, AR to Paul and Willie Mae Watson Black.  A devoted mother, Willene enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking delicious meals for them.  She especially cherished the times she got to watch her great-grandchildren participate in all of their activities.  She was a die-hard Ole Miss fan.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Cambridge Cemetery near Abbeville.

Survivors include two sons, Jonathan Bray of Greenville and Jason Bray of Grenada; brother, Paul Black of Pine Bluff, AR; three grandchildren, Chelsea Slaughter, John Gillon and Andrea Bray; and four great-grandchildren, Adalyn Slaughter, Brock Slaughter, Olivia Adams and Bryson Adams.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Bray; daughter, Shay Bray Gillon; sister, Vicki Black and brother, Darren Black.
