Mr. William R. Knight, 95, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born July 11, 1920 in Charleston to Virgil and Vinnie Vanlandingham Knight.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Lannie Wilbourn officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his daughter, Sue Ayers of Clinton; one son, Ken Knight of Batesville; two grandchildren, Phil Ayers and Chris Ayers; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew Ayers, Allison Ayers and Tessa Ayers.
Memorials may be directed to the Como Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
