Mr. William Edward Lafferty, Jr., 72, of Gore Springs, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at his residence.  He was born January 26, 1950 in Redlands, CA.  Mr. Lafferty owned and operated Franklin Body Shop in Franklin, TX for many years and honorably served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  A devoted family man, he will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include two daughters, Tracey McClure(Kenny) of Gore Springs and Melanie Orta(Paul) of Dallas, TX; one son, William Brett "Bill" Lafferty of Bremond, TX; four sisters, Dottie Snell of Bremond, TX, Joyce Crowder of College Station, TX, Bonnie Wachel of Bremond, TX, and Pat Lafferty of California; one brother, Mickey Lafferty of California; four grandchildren, Brandon, Ty, Jonah and Rylee; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Willis Falco and his father, William Edward Lafferty, Sr.
