Mr. William Allen Lovell, 94, of Grenada, formerly of Deming, NM, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born April 27, 1922 in Clinton, IL to William Harrison and Pearl McClimons Lovell. He was a retired cabinet maker and served in the Marines during World War II. He was an avid rock hound and rock collector. He was a member of the First Nazarene Church in Deming, NM where he made his home for many years before moving to Mississippi to be close to family.
A memorial service will be held on March 12, 2017 at the First Nazarene Church in Deming, NM with Rev. Al Bunting officiating.
Survivors include two sons, Aaron Lovell of Westmont, IL and Dennis Lovell (Gale) of Grenada; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florence Lovell and a daughter, Bonnie Hill.
