Mr. William Roberson, 73, of Duck Hill, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born February 7, 1945 in Marks. Mr. Roberson was a retired painter and a member of the Grenada Church of God.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Grenada Church of God with Rev. James McElroy officiating. Interment will follow in the Duck Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Roberson; three sons, Tony Roberson of Duck Hill, Paul Roberson of Grenada and Caleb Shun Roberson of Duck Hill; one daughter, Dana Edwards (Terry) of Grenada; mother, Doris Roberson; four grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Haylee Smith, Michael Roberson and Brylee Roberson; three great-grandchildren, Laci Roberson, Hannah Roberson and Remmington Roberson; four brothers, Steve Roberson, Derek Roberson, Barry Roberson and Swayne Roberson; and three sisters, Dee Frith, Anita Box and Pam Garrett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Roberson and Maddie Avant Henson; six brothers, Paul Mancell, Frank Mancell, Sam Mancell, Quinton Roberson, Charlie Roberson and Gordon Roberson and one sister, Miriam Mancell.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Cannon, Justin Greer, Anthony Mancell, Josh Roberson, Michael Roberson, Hunter Smith and Randy Turner.
