Obituary
Mr. Willie Elgin Mullen, 75, of Booneville, formerly of Grenada, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Longwood Long Term Care Facility in Booneville. He was born January 21, 1940 in Tallahatchie County to Robert Curtis and Bessie Doris Bryant Mullen. He was a retired factory worker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 Thursday, April 30, 2015 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Paul Cemetery in Tallahatchie County. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Hutchinson of Booneville; three sons, Robert Mullen of Cleveland, MS, Clay Mullen of Paragould, AR and John Bardwell of Cleveland, MS; one brother, Arnold Mullen of Grenada; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Sue Mullen and Frances Wardell Mullen.
