Mr. Willie Alex Rushing, 77, of Gore Springs, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Grenada.  He was born March 5, 1945 in Kosciusko to Clayton, Sr. and Gladys Beatrice Summers Rushing.  Willie was a retired automobile salesman and had honorably served our country in the US Army.  A devout Christian, he was also an ordained minister in the Church of God.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include a niece, Melody Loeffel(Keith) of Gore Springs and a nephew, Clay Rushing of Collierville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 44 years, Susan Rushing; sister, Jo Ann Nicholas and a brother, Clayton Rushing, Jr.
