Mrs. Willie Delorise Clarke Yopp, 94, of Grenada passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 22, 1922 in Carroll County to Edgar Wilson and Dora Moreland Clarke. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Brian Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Grenada Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Wanda Yopp of Grenada; son-in-law, Vernon Allen of Grenada; three grandchildren, Angela Yopp Myers of Blue Springs, Jennifer Yopp Burd of Southaven and Stephen Yopp of Grenada; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Melton Clarke, Sr. of Garland, TX and Will Felton Clarke of Eldorado, AR; one step-grandchild, Michael Allen of Hackberry, LA and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Kermit Manson Yopp; son, James K. "Jimmy" Yopp; daughter, Patricia F. "Patsy" Yopp Allen; brother, Wilton Clarke and sister, Eloise Clarke Woods.
Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund.
