Mrs. Yvonne Bursi Woods, 84, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Grenada Living Center.  She was born April 10, 1938 in Grenada to Frank and Annie Belle Floyd Bursi.  A devoted homemaker, Yvonne spent the early years of her working life as a telephone operator at South Central Bell and also worked at Sunburst Bank.  She loved spending time outdoors tending to her yard and flowers.  She loved the Lord and was a member of the Van Dorn Street Church of Christ.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Dr. Kevin Jackson officiating.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Joe Woods; four sons, Steve Woods(Tammy) of Grenada, Frank Woods(Chreish) of Brandon, Charlie Woods(Dana) of Duck Hill and Lee Woods(Deanna) of Grenada; two sisters, Jo Ann Blair(Charles) of Grenada and Frankie Mabry of Memphis; seven grandchildren, Stan Woods(Rachael), Neil Woods(Kayla), Evan Woods, Preston Woods, Nathan Woods, Brittany Colburn and Michael Smith; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charlie and Leon Bursi.
